Disinfecting and cleaning our facility is one of the most important and critical aspects of our operation, and all Attendants must be up to date with the latest procedures and policies for cleaning and be able to follow each step according to our standard operating procedures.
The Attendants will report directly to the back-end supervisor who will relay all information needed to our front-end staff, as needed.
Communication and observations skills are a must for this position.
By following directions (both written and communicated) the Attendants must be able to utilize their knowledge and skills in pet care to provide the most comfortable, clean, and stimulating experience for all dogs boarding with us.
Attention to detail is most important for this position.
Members of this position must know how to treat dogs as guests in our home and ensure they know the level of comfort and care that will be taken in their dog's stay with us.
Daycare Attendants must know the dogs by name and make every effort to let the dogs know they are a member of our K9 family and will have an amazing time in our resort.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Dog Daycare Attendants perform the trifecta of duties as listed below:
Daycare Tech Learn all dogs' names.
Monitor the health of all guests.
Ensure interactions do not escalate beyond simple play.
Spot clean daycare.
Clean and disinfect outdoor area.
Work with a large number of dogs at once in a fast-paced environment.
Sanitation Tech Clean all rooms and accommodations.
Clean and sanitize lobby, tour, and operational areas.
Transport dogs throughout the facility.
Monitor happiness and health of dogs in their rooms.
Bathing & Hair Care Bathe dogs.
Dry and brush dogs according to coat and breed.
Manage and prioritize multiple tasks Additionally The ability to learn quickly and identify needs throughout the day Work closely with front end staff and to ensure the care and comfort of guests.
Provide timely feedback to Supervisors with any issues/ concerns regarding dog care Work with team to meet and exceed customer's expectations.
Supervision of daycares of all sizes; must be 100% comfortable around all breeds as they interact together on a daily basis.
Cleaning our outdoor areas once dogs have been let out for morning, afternoon, and evening walks and during daycare hours.
Kennel Technician Requirements and Qualifications High School diploma.
Problem-solving skills, and the ability to think under pressure.
Commitment to continued education about the company, products, and services.
Prior pet care/ kennel/ vet experience preferred, but not required Job Types:
