Financial Representative - IFG

To learn and develop the skill set and behaviors needed to become a productive Financial Advisor. and strong partner within the retail bank.

  • Interact with and build relationships with bank partners
  • Become proficient on the phone with prospecting calls, service calls and sales calls
  • Develop strong listening skills and the ability to take complex ideas and clearly communicate them to prospects / customers
  • Learn the IFG approved products for sale
  • Demonstrate the ability to conduct quick starts, branch meetings, referral training,
  • Demonstrate the ability to present products / concepts and close business through needs based selling
  • Track revenue reports, referrals back to the bank and appointments as needed
  • Assist FA partners in planning and hosting seminars and focus days
  • Attend IFG meetings, bank rallies and external activities
  • Obtain series 7 and series 65/66 after completing 6 months of employment
  • Adhere to current regulatory rules and regulations
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work closely with FA in determining ways to increase revenue.
  • Team player



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
